3 Joys, 3 Fears, 3 Goals

I got nabbed by my daughter to do this as an update to my blog here goes:

3 Joys - being with my grandchildren

flying by myself to visit my daughers

going to the ocean and listening to the waves

3 Fears - getting lost

not having time to get things done

snakes

3 Goals - Finish cleaning out my closet

Making scrapbooks of my family history

Reading and typing up my grandfather's journal

This past July 4th we went to Mackinaw Island and watched the fireworks and toured and ate fudge. You have to eat fudge - wonderful. It was great just to get away and enjoy being a tourist for a few days. We missed the grandchildren who had just left from being here and it was sad cleaning the fingerprints off the doors. But I have memories of the things they said and the cute smiles they had while they were with us.

The pictures above are of Wyatt who is on my carpet in my house when this was taken and the last picture we have that he was here with us. ...and his blessing picture in Norfolk with the Grandma's Nori, Me and my Mom - the great grandma.

Novice Experience

As you read through this blog you will notice my novice work!!! Sorry - I'm just learning and will wear Blogger for Dummies at my hip for a while!

Welcome to Spring in Fort Wayne Indiana. Thank you to Bev for the beautiful rose which is planted at our other house we moved away from - it would have died if we moved it - but a picture is worth a thousand words! My daughter's blog is much better and I invite you to visit to see updates of all our grandchildren at the Hensleyfam blog.

A winter vacation in Virginia

In February I enjoyed celebrating Jonas my grandson's birthday - taking pictures of the granddaughter's dress up play and my new grandson holding, hugging, just enjoying his newness...only a mother will understand!
